Soldier Sisters

“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”
2nd Timothy 2:3, 4
So thankful for the opportunity to be able to share, with my
"Soldier Sisters" in Christ, of FBC, Bentonville, AR. They are beautiful both inside and out....they continue to exude the love of Christ, by loving others, and I am so thankful to know all of them, and know without doubt their love for me.
Satan's job is to still, kill, and destroy, but God is greater than that
and I know He wants what is best for me.  Since beginning this journey many times I have felt like I have been on public display, but I still say "yes".  Most of the times I am able to mask the way NMO, affects my mental capacity and the ability to convey what is in my head through my mouth, which is so frustrating.  I have done public speaking for various organization so I know when it doesn't go so well.  An example of the love the women of FBC is how they sat and tentively listen while I struggled to literally connect words that made sentences.
Sunday evening started  all of my reflections of just how far the Lord has bought me.  While taking the "Lord's Supper" I thought to myself He has bought me from a mighty long way.
Nancy was sitting next to me and I reached to get the cracker and realized that I would make a mess so I asked her to hand me a craker, from that moment I began to cry because there was a noticeable difference, I took the cracker with control and held it between my index, middle finger, and thumb until it was time to eat it. Glory!
I was trying to compare the Modern Soldier, with the Christian Soldier during my testimony the above is an example of what the results can be of the Soldier that keeps on keeping on in order to accomplish the mission ...no matter the mission ...mine happens to be Living to Win this NMO fight, after all we know the end of the story.... God is Glorified!!!!

Continue the Press

Philippians 3:12-15   Not that I have already reached the goal, or am already fully matured, but I make every effort to take hold of it because I also have been taken hold of by Christ Jesus.  Brothers I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it, but one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly called in Christ Jesus.  Therefore, all who are mature should think his way. And if you think differently, about anything, God will reveal this to you also.
I am so encouraged today that our mark is one that we can attain. As I reflect on this journey "Living to Win" effort it is incredible at how far we've come in one year.  I have so much to be thankful for.  Join me in prayer that God continue to get the glory through it all.

Welcome

Welcome all so happy to have you visiting this blog, nothing happens by coincidence…

Psalms 119:18

Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.  I am gaining the knowledge by reading the word of God with intention to respect GOD'S plan for my life Jeremiah 29:11.  I am in a place where I live in a way that prayerfully brings Glory to God.

(Stay tuned we visit this again along the way).

I have been through some physical trials in my life that I am certain that they are a part of my story which I am coming into the knowledge that I couldn’t have “my story” without those physical misfortunes; this story may not be as incredible as it is. The story is one being told to offer hope, confidence, courage, and strength not of yourself but drawing from the all Powerful One.

While recovering from an accident, I was diagnosed with a rare disease Neuromylitis Optica aka (Devics Disease) NMO. Here is where I will pick for now, however I will mention things happening prior to this diagnosis.

I am raising money for a new trial research by way of stem cell transplant (complete bone marrow transplant) that is being offered at North West University in Chicago where

Dr. Burt a Neurologist is developing the transplant procedure.

I will detail some of the other things mentioned before, as I go along.  Please ask question as I have a wealth of knowledge that I so want to freely give in hopes to contain some of the red tape that these things can expose.
